If you would like to install a rain barrel, the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association may be able to help you as part of their rain barrel iniative.

If your are interested in purchasing green products, the following may be useful. For furniture, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette maintains a list.

For ENERGY STAR appliances, Freshaire paint, Compact Florescent Lights, ceiling fans and programmable thermostats, Home Depot is a good source.

For a really cool thermostat.

If you want to go all out with LED lights, EcoDirect has a good selection. These light are still very expensive to buy, but the product selection is getting better and they are starting to come out with truely dimmable bulbs.
